B7

We’ve waited a whole 8 years for Brandy to finally drop her album. But, it was well worth the wait! Of course I’m a little biased because she is hands down one of my favorite artist and vocalist. However, you can’t deny that her music has definitely stood the test of time. Brandy has always been known as, “The Vocal Bible” and she reminds us all why on B7. My standouts are, Rather Be, Borderline, No Tomorrow, Say Something, Love Again with Daniel Caesar, The ballad Bye Bipolar that takes you through a metaphoric journey as you ride the waves of her vocal harmonies.

Queen Royale with Jill Scott and Erykah Badu

May 9, 2020 was a monumental Day. Jill Scott and Erykah Badu took the Instagram stage and truly blessed the culture! They took us on this journey down memory lane filled with sweet nothings, melodies, and music for the soul.

But, no way will I call this a battle. It was more like Sistha’s exchanging secrets and dropping gems with their songs playing as the soundtrack in the background.

There were over 700k people in attendance, including: Quincy Jones, our forever 1st Lady Michelle Obama, Viola Davis, Snoop Dogg, Lil Kim, Missy Elliott, Michael B. Jordan, Big Sean, and Nas just to name a few.

This is a play by play of how it all went down

This was definitely the usual musical therapy that true blue fans receive every time we listen to their albums or attend their concerts and a beautiful surprise for the newcomers.
